    Dr. Jayesh H. Shah

    Description: Jayesh Shah is working as a Research Associate at the Centre for Culture and Development, Vadodara. He is a doctorate in management from the M. S. University of Baroda. He also holds post graduate diplomas in Industrial Relations, Labour Laws, Organization Behaviour, Clinical Psychology and Computer Science. He has served as Chief Executive Officer in a leading international company for more than ten years. Earlier he worked as free lance Management Consultant for more than 10 years in Gujarat. He has conducted extensive studies on labour, employment and industry in his career. He has authored many articles in professional journals.

    Ms. Kanchan Bharati

    Description: Kanchan Bharati is working as a Research Associate at the Centre for Culture and Development (CCD), Vadodara. She holds post-graduate in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University and M.Phil in Sociology from Central University of Hyderabad. Her academic research includes Gerentological studies with reference to elder care issues, institutionalization of elderly and elderly widows with an approach for field based studies. Besides publications in scholarly journals she has also presented many research papers in conferences/workshops. Earlier she was associated with NCERT, Delhi and NIRD, Hyderabad on short-term research projects. Before joining CCD she was associated with IIM-Bangalore as Academic Associate. She is presently awaiting her doctorate result from University of Mysore.

    Mr. Dhananjay Kumar

    Description: Dhananjay Kumar is working as a Research Associate at the Centre for Culture and Development, Vadodara. He holds post-graduate in Social Anthropology from University of Delhi. His research interests focus on technology and culture change in rural India with specific areas such as agrarian change, traditional knowledge and social structure. He has more than five years of research experience in conducting fieldwork, report writing among the rural communities such as SC, OBC and Tribes for the issues related to anthropology of culture and development. He has published research papers in national and international journals and presented several conference papers. Earlier he was associated with NGO Deshkal Society, and multinational organizations such as Patni Computers System Ltd., Omniglobe Informatics in Delhi NCR region. He is nearly completing his doctoral work at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, NIT Rourkela.
